On August 16, the Ministry of Transport invited young people to the “Sustainable Mobility Stop” at the youth opportunity festival Kopums 2025, which took place in Latvia’s Youth Capital 2025 – Liepāja. The festival is one of the most powerful events within the Latvia’s Youth Capital 2025 – Liepāja program. Visitors were offered a diverse program of educational and entertaining activities.

Asvalters – the master of street wisdom, encouraged young people and families to test their knowledge about safe use of micromobility tools, try the Road Traffic Safety Directorate’s (CSDD) “drunk goggles” activity, and take part in a survey on measures to improve road safety. Participants could also learn about transport and communications projects implemented with the support of European Union funds.

The Ministry of Transport participated in this festival to promote the idea of sustainable mobility and to encourage everyone to travel safely, actively, and in an environmentally friendly way.
